Research and development

FROG technology (FRee your cOGnition / Reduce cognitive load) was created in 2016. This innovative project was developed in collaboration with researchers Pascale Colé (cognitive science), Frédérique Kupra (design), and Béatrice Daille and Solenn Quiniou (language sciences).

The use of artificial intelligence makes it possible to design personalized solutions that address the specific needs of each reader profile.

Field experience

We work with several schools to conduct user testing. Observing students as they use FROG books and read on digital devices helps us continuously improve our tools to better meet their needs.

Artificial intelligence

The R&D team relies on machine learning techniques and large language models to automate the adaptation of books into the FROG format, through linguistic analysis of the text and the generation of comprehension support features for texts in multiple languages.

UX design

UX design makes it possible to offer an optimal user journey within the FROG book by creating ergonomic interfaces, ensuring visual consistency, simplifying interactions and access to tools, and ultimately reducing cognitive load.

Science and research

Our innovations are grounded in research on reading, its acquisition, and learning disorders. We leverage advances in natural language processing to identify challenging linguistic units.

Our FROG technology

In response to the limited range of reading materials available for dyslexic readers, MOBiDYS set out to create an accessible digital book that allows readers to choose the tools best suited to their needs. FROG technology is directly inspired by methods used by speech-language pathologists and responds to the growing needs of students.

FROG digital books integrate around fifteen reading support features designed to help readers with navigation, decoding, and comprehension.
